TSRA 2015 Education Session 4 – Foul Recognition and Considerations

Here’s a quick reminder about tonight’s education session.

This is the 4th Education Session in the TSRA organized and hosted 2015 pre-season Referee Education Series. 
Armando will speak about Recongnizing fouls and misconduct, as well as what one should consider when applying this law.

Please bring your chequebook or cash. Receipts will be given.

Referee Training February 28

Dear Referees

The Toronto Soccer Association will be holding a referee training and education session on Saturday February 28th, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.

The session will be broken into classroom and gymnasium with physical training and integrated exercises. Dress comfortably with appropriate change of clothes for training in a gym.

10:00 am – 11:30 am – practical training in the gym. Bring comfortable clothing for training with snacks and refreshments.
11:30 am – 1:00 pm – classroom referee education. This will be led by Isaac Raymond and National and Provincial referees with topics you will find interesting and useful.

What to bring:
  • Gym – shorts, shirt, running shoes, flag, whistle, referee cards, refreshments, change of clothes.
  • Classroom – notepad, pen, Laws of the Game, enthusiasm, lots of questions!
  • We will be in the gym until approximately 11:30 am and then in the classroom until about 1:00 pm, so you may need to bring snacks or lunch as well.

ALL registered TSA REFEREES ARE WELCOME regardless to age or grade. This is an opportunity for the DRC to meet you (and vice versa) and for you to shake some of the rust off if you have not been able to start training. 
This is a free session and all referees are welcome.
