Dear Referee and Soccer Official,

On Sunday, May 1, 2016 the TSRA has organized an exclusive bus trip, with many extra goodies included to Casino Rama.

This trip will include refreshments and door prizes for the ride up, and $15 of casino slot play money applied to your Player’s Card by the casino. A seat on the bus and all of this is included in your ticket price. Every dollar raised will go into the Referees Have Heart campaign to buy and place life-saving defibrillators at Toronto soccer fields.

You need to be at least 19 years old and bring Ontario proof of age with you on the bus on May 1^st.

TSRA executive Committee

District Level Referees (Grade 6 and below) who wish to upgrade to Level 7 or Level 8 are required to meet  the “District Fitness Standard” for their target grade as part of the upgrade process. Referees who have previously attained Level 7 or Level 8 are also required to meet this standard in order to maintain their grading.

In order to assist referees from within the TSA (and beyond), the Toronto Soccer Association will offer the BEEP TEST.

Time: 9.00am- 12 noon.

Beep Test Registration Process

• Access your profile in Ref Centre
• Click “Fitness”, and then “Fitness Tests”
• Select the test date/ venue you require and click “Register” twice
• You will receive an automated confirmation
• If you have selected a TSA hosted Fitness Test you will receive a follow up email a few days prior to your test date with information relevant to your testing.

We recently added over 30 FIFA Laws of the Game quizes, and over 10 FIFA Futsal Laws of the Game quizes!

These quizes will keep you sharp over the next few months as we joyfully wait for the coming of the 2016 outdoor season.  With HUNDREDS of questions, this resource should keep you busy this winter.

Quizzes are courtesy of the Asian Footbal Confederation (AFC), normally consist of 10 questions, and you are required to answer all within 15 minutes.
Each correct answer carries 1 point, and the passing mark is 8/10.
